Since graduating in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy, I have gained a wide range of clinical experience within both the NHS and private sector. My work has included running a pre-school community clinic, working in mainstream and special schools, and setting up my own private practice. I also work as an Elklan Tutor which involves working closely with educators of pre-school and primary aged children, training them in the theory and practice of speech and language therapy within the nursery and classroom setting.

I specialise in working with children aged 2 to 11 within preschool and school settings, as well as within clients’ homes or at my own home in Hove, where I have a designated therapy room. I work in and around the Brighton and Hove area.

I am passionate about Adult-Child Interaction, and committed to working closely with parents and schools to achieve the best outcome for the child. As a mother of two children myself, I appreciate how important it is to include parents in each step of the therapy plan, and I believe this is the best way for the child to reach their full potential. I design therapy sessions to be fun and engaging.

I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Association of Independent Speech and Language Therapists in Practice (ASLTIP), and the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC). I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
